The location is serene, private, and rustic. All buildings are heated and air conditioned for year-round conditions. Each of these buildings has its own large, covered porch which can be a wonderful place to gather in the event of rainfall. We have several meeting rooms of various sizes that can be used for anything from lectures, break-out sessions, or even crafting. The beautiful Florida weather can allow all types of productive or fun group activities. A natural crystal-clear spring-fed lake sits beside a white sandy beach that offers more than just swimming.
At Orange Springs Retreat, we have several options for outdoor activities ranging from leisurely to active and invigorating.
If you enjoy relaxing out on the lake and scouring for fish, bring your fishing pole! There are beautiful brim, bass, and specks waiting to be caught! Canoes, paddle boats, and kayaks are all part of our robust list of retreat center amenities that you are welcome to use.
Our retreat center is unique in that we feature wide open fields, outdoor pavilions around the campus while our buildings are conveniently located within close proximity of one another.
For sporting related amenities, we have four well-maintained hardtop tennis courts for those who bring their own rackets. Walking trails are on the retreat grounds to offer a scenic pathway to relax and enjoy the sights and sounds of nature. Our facilities also include indoor basketball courts, a soccer field, as well as multiple volleyball courts, even a court for beach volleyball!
Our retreat grounds provide the perfect secluded location for any type of group retreat including christian, fire departments, company retreats, spiritual, youth groups, class trip retreats and more.
Our ropes courses are available upon request. We boast both impressive high and low ropes courses with some of the best facilitators around. For safety reasons, ropes courses must be requested in advance as they must be facilitated by the professionals that are referred by the Orange Springs Retreat Center. The ropes courses and archery are the only activities that require separate facilitation outside of your own group retreat staff.
