1. Define the purpose of the trip
Start with the outcome, not the activity list. 3. Match activities to the club — and keep a rain plan
The best club overnight weekends mix one or two programmed blocks with recreation the students did not have to invent. Honor societies often want meeting rooms and a quiet outdoor circle. Leadership groups want team initiatives and a hall that can hold everyone. Robotics or band groups may need storage, indoor rehearsal space, and a field.
